Go with the Flow: exchange at KU Leuven University
As part of the FlowCat project activities, an exchange is in progress at KU Leuven University in the research group of Prof. Simon Kuhn. The collaboration focuses on flow electrochemistry, particularly the oxidation of alcohols to aldehydes coupled with aldol condensation. This hands-on experience contributes to strengthening international research ties and advancing FlowCat’s mission in developing innovative and sustainable flow processes.
FlowCat project presented to researchers
FlowCat project was presented at the 3rd Research Day held on 6th March 2025 at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, University of Ljubljana

FlowCat project kick-off meeting
Twinning for Building Excellence and Innovative Solutions in Flow Catalysis - FlowCat project kick-off meeting was held on 9th of October 2024 at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, University of Ljubljana (UL), marking the start of an important collaboration between UL and leading international research teams in flow (bio)catalysis. Focused on developing continuous production systems through efficient (bio)catalytic processes enhanced by artificial intelligence, FlowCat is set to push the boundaries of sustainable and advanced manufacturing. This meeting sets the tone for impactful innovations ahead!
