The Innovation & Exploitation Workshop provided practical training in patent literacy, freedom-to-operate (FTO), and strategic decision-making regarding when to patent. Participants followed a real patent application journey—from idea to evaluator communication—to explore spin-off development and create individual IRL roadmaps, gaining a business-oriented perspective on their research.
The Chemical Reaction Engineering and Design Workshop introduced key principles of flow chemical method design, sustainability, and techno-economic assessment. Participants examined sustainability and economic boundaries in the fine chemical industry and addressed real-world challenges, including single-atom catalysis.
Together, the workshops strengthened participants’ ability to translate research into innovative and sustainable solutions.
