The research training is focused on the immobilization of Rose Bengal in electrodeposited hydrogels for photocatalytic oxidation under flow conditions. The work provides valuable insights into microreactor fabrication, photocatalyst stabilization, and kinetic analysis of model singlet oxygen reactions. Beyond the technical progress, the stay further strengthens the partnership between UL FKKT and KU Leuven and is contributing to FlowCat’s broader vision of advancing sustainable photocatalytic flow technologies.
